Homeward bound

Stopped to visit wirh dear friends in Tennessee on way home. 
Went to the Appalachia museum. It was fascinsting and there were peacocks everywhere for some reason.

Guadalupe Mountains NP Easter afternoon 4/9

Omg. My most beauteous cactus yet! Scarlet Hedgehog or Claret cup!! We did 2 short hikes in the afternoon, will do a linger one in the afternoon. Lots of new species found!! Mini carpets of yellow. tons of beautiful agaves! Mexican Buckeye Another great day but lour dogs are tired. Burgers for dinner. No pics  sunset from camper!        Coolest Thunderhead ever!
